Alessia Pellarini graduated in London in 1999 from Saint Martins. She joined Prada as a Junior Designer in 2000, rising to the position of Design Director by 2010. Following her tenure at Prada, she worked with Chloé until 2012. After a brief period at Tommy Hilfiger, she officially assumed the role of Design Director at Fendi alongside Karl Lagerfeld from 2012 until February 2023.

The curtain begins to rise. Pink. And you step into another world. A unique archive of 3,500 carefully curated selections spanning approximately two decades, from the late ’90s to the present day, continuously updated. This is The AP Archive, a tangible and digital space, both physical and virtual, created by designer Alessia Pellarini, where you can rent clothing, footwear, bags, and accessories, including iconic pieces or those worn by Alessia herself for various events and occasions.

The distinctive feature and strength of The AP Archive, compared to other existing entities, lie in the exceptional professional background of its creator. Thanks to her education and authority, Alessia Pellarini is not just a fashion lover but a true fashion icon, who has contributed with her ideas and vision to the design of collections that have fascinated and conquered.

“Now,” comments the Design Director, “it’s time to transform my past into my future: to open my wardrobe.”

Celine, Balenciaga, Comme de Garçon, Margiela, Prada, Chloè, Fendi, Chanel, Gucci, Richard Queen, Marc Jacobs, Sacai are some of the brands in the archive, sought after and collected by Alessia Pellarini. Perfect outfits for every occasion, from gala evenings to more casual ready-to-wear. The AP Archive boasts around 300 coats, 200 jackets, 600 dresses, over 700 shoes, more than 300 bags, as well as skirts, pants, and shirts, with a unique goal: to give new life to iconic pieces.

The AP Archive provides multiple alternatives. Professional collaboration ranges from styling offices to stylists, covering activities such as photo shoots, music videos, and everything related to the cinematic world. This is combined with Alessia Pellarini’s years of professional expertise, already as a Design Director in prestigious fashion houses like Prada and Fendi. On the other hand, The AP Archive is also an online platform where you can explore a wide range of options and rent your favorite garment. Alternatively, you can book a one-to-one appointment on-site to wear these precious garments. Upon request, you can also benefit from the designer’s personalized styling consultation, thanks to her extensive experience. And thus, for a few days or just one night, become true fashion icons.

The website (theaparchive.com) is structured into 3 parts:

  1. The AP Archive: This section showcases garments from the archive, ranging from size 40 to 50, available for rental for 4 to 8 days. The pricing starts from xx per day, with dry-cleaning service and insurance included.

  3. The AP Editorial: Through photographic and editorial features, the designer provides creative inspiration and suggests contemporary reinterpretations of archival pieces.

The curtain rises. The play of fabrics and veils emerges from behind the velvet curtains. The most beautiful garments and the captivating story of Alessia Pellarini’s fashion take center stage with The AP Archive.
